In order to create awareness about the importance of
protecting and promoting native Indian cow breeds; foster
knowledge of cow breeds and cow products; and encourage
nonviolent and judicious husbanding of cow resources,
Kamadugha has come out with a unique concept called
GouSamsath (Cow Parliament). Coming in the wake of the
success of the Bhratiya GoYatra and started on October
2 - 2006, Go Samsath will feature sessions at all the
taluk centers of Karnataka, with open discussions on
social, economic, scientific, agricultural, medical
and religious themes related to cows. Environmentalists,
scientists, agriculturists, social workers, economists,
entrepreneurs, dairy farmers and “cow-friendly”
people of every kind will participate in this event.
