Mahanandi, spirit behind the conference
Ramachandrapur Math, April. 27- Mahanandi, a stalwart, majestic, white coloured bull is the main spirit behind the conference.
Don’t get surprised. The bull, a pet animal of Swamiji had curious history while entering into the Math premises.
A long back, Swamiji visited BAIF centre in Tiptur and attracted by this bull at the first sight. He was curious and decided to carry it to the Math for rearing.
At the time of departure, Swamiji asked for the same type of bull. But, BAIF had only one bull of this type. Ultimately, they decided to give the same to the Math as a gift. Inspired by this bull, Swamiji decided to start a campaign for creating awareness about cow among common public.

Originally the bull belongs to Lakshmi Tatacharya of Melukote.
It was calf of Ongol breed. Unable to nourish by its huge body, Tatacharya gave it to BAIF centre in Tiptur.
Today, Mahanandi is the main attraction of tourists. Even Tatacharya coming here to see the bull.
