Math(Hosanagar), April. 23-
Farmers have been
continuously cheated in the name of chemical and organic
farming and the amount of cheating cases in the organic
farming is doubled than chemical farming, zero capital
farming assertor Subash Palikar has said.
He was speaking after receiving the 'shresta Gopal Gourav'
(great cowherd) award by the Raghaveshwar Swamiji here
on Monday.
Nature is truth and truth is religion. The cow protection
campaign running by the seer is moving towards nature
with truth and religion, he added.
He dedicated the award to the 'Gou mathe'(cow mother). Cow is a boon given by the nature to the human beings. Cattle is the farmer's livelihood. But, unable to understand this truth, farmers have been cheated in the name of chemical and organic farming, he lamented. |

H. F breed cattle could not be considered as cows and
if at all we called them as cows that is nothing but our
foolishness, he asserted.
Speaking on the occasion former minister, Congress leader
D B Chandre Gowda said, in our society, taking up the
work of grazing the cows is once considered as insult.
That is why we were moving towards technical knowledge
like IT, BT which will ultimately destroys our spirit,
he added. |

Lauding the
swamiji for taking up the initiative of protection of
cows he said,
Adding, cattle breed protection and development could
not only be achieved by enacting law, instead, it could
be achieved by creating awareness among public.
Prior to this, scores of swamijis including Athani Abhayananda
swamiji, Vrandavan Mohandas Maharaj, Belgaum Krishnananda
swamiji presented their papers on the subject. Swamijis,
devotees in large numbers across the
country were present on the occasion.
