| Hosanagar,
April 25-
I will not use the language of Britan (English), the
country that promoted the cow slaughter, said Padmashree
awardee, columnist Muzaffer Hussein.
Addressing the fifth day’s panel discussion on
cow-food and family at the world conference on Indian
breed cattle at Ramachandrapur Math near here on Wednesday
he said, in India, cow slaughter begins with British
rule. They used divide and rule policy to run their
rule and promote the cow slaughter as a part of it in
India. So, Britishers are directly responsible for the
ongoing cow slaughter in the country, he criticized.
In 1950 there were 400 cows for every citizen. Now it
comes down to 10 and expected to touch the dangerous
level at the end of 2010, he warned and calls to wake
up to avoid untoward incidents.
World conference on cow should be converted into cow’s
world conference, he said, Adding, the name of the places
like Oxford, Oakland were cow based names and more than
5,500 villages in the country has the name based on
cow.

India
