April 25 : I will not use cow slaughter’s promoted language: Hussein
 

Hosanagar, April 25-
I will not use the language of Britan (English), the country that promoted the cow slaughter, said Padmashree awardee, columnist Muzaffer Hussein.
Addressing the fifth day’s panel discussion on cow-food and family at the world conference on Indian breed cattle at Ramachandrapur Math near here on Wednesday he said, in India, cow slaughter begins with British rule. They used divide and rule policy to run their rule and promote the cow slaughter as a part of it in India. So, Britishers are directly responsible for the ongoing cow slaughter in the country, he criticized.
In 1950 there were 400 cows for every citizen. Now it comes down to 10 and expected to touch the dangerous level at the end of 2010, he warned and calls to wake up to avoid untoward incidents.
World conference on cow should be converted into cow’s world conference, he said, Adding, the name of the places like Oxford, Oakland were cow based names and more than 5,500 villages in the country has the name based on cow.



India which has a cow based economical and social system does not have even a single picture in its currency or national flag. But, Nepal depicted cow’s picture in its currency, he criticised.
Cow should be a national animal in India. But, instead here cow slaughter continues, he lamented.

Cow is a part of our family: Rama
Hosanagara, April. 25- Cow is a part of Indian family system which was written in every epics. There is a close relationship between the cow and women, Dr. Rama Srinivasan has said.
Speaking at a panel discussion on cow-spirituality and food here on Wednesday she said, since ancient days cow-donation is considered as great donation in India. Adding, we have not introduced the subject about the cow in the syllabus properly. As a result, students failed to understand the importance of cow, she lamented.
While stressing the importance of ghee G R Vasthrad, expert from Bellary said, usage of ghee will enhances intelligence. Ayurvedic expert from Bangalore K S Jayashree in her speech elaborate the importance of milk, ghee, butter, curd in our daily food.

Flute festival enters 5th day.
Hosanagara, April. 25- Flute festival continuous for the fifth day at Vrandavan in which well known flutists performed on Wednesday. Flutists like Pandit Shashank Chennai, Ronu Majumdar, Venkatesh Godkindi, Professor Shambu Bhat Kadatoka, Prakash Kallaremane enthralled the audience from their instrument. It is a peculiar flute festival organized as a part of the ongoing conference in which flutists performing continuously for 24 hours.
