April 24 : Cow slaughter is not a real Muslim
 

Hosanagara, April. 24- Cow slaughter is not a real Muslim and one who eats mutton prepared by the cow is not considered as real Muslim, criticized Mohammad Afzal, national convener of Delhi Rastravadi Muslim Andolana.
Speaking to press men here on Monday evening he said, his organization has decided to conduct signature campaign against cow slaughter across the country and a copy of this would be submitted to President and Prime Minister soon, he added.
Prophet Mohammad Figamber in his message clearly stated that milk and ghee contains medicinal value and taking cow’s mutton as food leads to many diseases. He never suggested eating cow’s mutton to his followers any where, he said. Adding, Muslims of this country borrowed religion from Arabs and followed Indian tradition in many things.
Arabs wouldn’t celebrate Figamber Jayanthi. But, in India Muslims celebrating Figamber jayanthi as like Rama Jayanthi, Krishna Jayanthi celebrated by Hindus and most of Muslims here were converted, he said.

Hold stick to protect cow: C T Ravi
Hosanagara, April 24- Time comes to hold sticks and follow ruff and tuff measures for all of us to protect cows, Chikkamagaluru MLA C T Ravi has said.
Speaking at press meet here on Tuesday he said, so far we have followed soft measures to protect cows from cow slaughterers and the time comes to hold sticks for the same, he added.
He vowed to pursue the minds of political leaders to introduce a bill in the legislative assembly for banning the cow slaughter in the State. All political leaders responding positively for banning cow slaughter, but, later, changed their mind for vote bank politics, he criticized.
We can pay honour to Mahatma Gandhi by banning cow slaughter in the country, he said. H D Kumaraswamy told at the inaugural function here that he became Chief Minister after visiting Math and took blessings from Swamiji. So he should take bold steps to ban cow slaughter which is the main determination of the Math, he added.

Hosanagara, April. 24- Song, ‘Mathe Gouve, Preethi Jeeve…Gou.. Namostuthe (Mother cow, love animal…cow…I salute you…) echoing melodiously every corners of the Math premises. Song has been reciting from morning 11 to mid-night continuously which mesmerises the devotees.
There is no human life without cow is the main theme of the song. There is a car in which cow has been carrying along the 6 km path by more than 22 teachers and 148 students every day at the Math premises.
