Math, April. 27- Swadeshi Bachao Andolan convener Rajeev
Dikshit has urged the Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy to
enact law to prevent cow slaughter in the State with immediate
effect.
Speaking at 'Rishiraja' sammelana on the 7th day here
on Friday he said, country had incurred a loss of Rs 90
lakh crore due to cow slaughter between 1857-2007 which
is equivalent to 12th five year plan. A cow could yield
an amount of Rs 40 lakh in it's life span. No one could
compare with cow for the same. But, 3.50 crore cows have
been slaughtering every year which incurring heavy loss
to our economy, he lamented.
Cow milk would cost Rs 15-20 per litre while urine sale
could earn Rs 500 per litre, he said. Adding, he criticised
the government for providing grants to slaughter houses
upto Rs 1lakh.

Tea companies
were using cow's blood to mix it with tea powder for
obtaining attractive colour. We are drinking tea preparing
from these tea powders. Global companies were using
cow's bone in the preparation of tooth pastes, he accused.
British rulers used cow as traumphcard for their divide
and rule policy which still continues in India for political
gains, he added.
He also urged the union government to declare cow as
national animal. Dr. Jayakrishna, Dr. Nandini Bhojaraj
also spoke on the occasion. |

Cow
based economy increases GDP growth
Swadeshi Jagaran Andolana convener Rajeeva Dikshit has
called upon the public to adopt cow based economy as
he claimed which could increase the growth of gross
domestic product upto Rs. 7 lakh .
Addressing the 7th day panel discussion on the subject
cow and economy here on Friday he said, country could
get a profit of Rs. 40 lakh by adopting cow based agriculture.
He also urged the union government to declare cow as
the national animal and state governments to enact law
to protect the cows from slaughtering.
He also stressed the importance of medicinal values
of cow’s urine and dung.
