April 22: Good response for conference

  The world conference on Indian breed cattle which started here on Saturday received good response from all over the country with offerings and donations coming in all directions. 'Kamadugha' which started seven years back, now spreads all over the country and the ongoing conference is expected to receive more than 30 lakhs devotees from all over the world.
Revealing these facts at a press conference here on Sunday, convener Hariprasad Periyapu said, Math's treasury has received more than 150 tons of rice, 1.5 tons coffee seeds, 100 quintal dals, 25 tons of Sugar so far from the devotees. Donations coming from all corners of the State and also from outside, from all walks of life including traders, people representatives and common man.



While divulging some names he said, Bharathi Deshpande from Hubli has sent 450 bags of lime fruits and rice traders from Gangavathi have sent 13 tons of rice, traders from Kalburgi have sent 100 quintals of dals and coffee traders from Chikmagaluru have sent 1.5 tons of coffee seeds, he added.
'Kamadhenu Tulabar' is also receiving good response while Imami organisation president Radhe Shyam offered 125 kgs of silver for 'tulabar' on April 28, Hariprasad said. Devotees could offer for this tulabar on the 5:7 feet plate which is meant for the purpose, he added. Meanwhile, Kamadhenu Vidyapeeta of Kolkata has opened a stall in which they are sailing the products like tooth powder prepared from cow dung. By: Madhyama centre for world cow conference, Bangalore.
