Cow is in
the top place in the field of spirituality. Cow should
be declared as national as well as world animal. India
should put pressure on world community in this regard,
then only the world 'Gavo Vishwasya Mathara (Gow is
the mother of world) gets it's meaning, he suggested.
There was no meaning for the story of Krishna without
cow. We could not get the blessings of Shiva without
respecting Basava (bullock). In the same way life of
farmers would not be fructified without rearing cow,
he said.
Speaking on the occasion former minister Kagodu Thimmappa
said, conference on cow should try to expose on economical
importance of cow along with it's protection and investigation.
Ankola MLA Vishweshwar Hegde assured to back swamiji
on his efforts in the protection of cow. He also promised
to discuss the matter in the legislative assembly.
